<P> <P> <P>On 21 February 2013, the previous Leader of the County Council allocated £1m to the existing Community Buildings Capital Grant Scheme, to be allocated as grants of a maximum of £200,000 each.</P> <P>The Culture, Communities and Rural Affairs Select Committee (now, the Culture and Communities Select Committee) set up this Sub-Committee on 10 September 2013 to consider and comment on the large grant applications. </P>
