<P>The Library and Information Service has been required to reduce its revenue budget by 2015/16 and in order to do this the Service under took a consultation exercise on a number of proposals involving service provision in specific areas. The report sets out the reasons behind these proposals, the results of the consultation and puts forward a series of recommendations.</P>
