Summary

<P> <P>Two separate software contracts, one with IBM and the other with Microsoft, are due for renewal in the coming months as part of business as usual for the delivery of IT services.  This expenditure has been anticipated and appropriate budget provision made.  Where possible IT seek to use non-proprietary software but current services are heavily dependent on:</P> <P>- IBM products to support Hantsfile (principally Document Manager) and Storage (Tivoli Storage Manager).</P>
