<P>Seeking approval for the implementation of Haslar Bridge Rehabilitation Works scheme at an estimated cost of £1.409million. The scheme involves installation of an impressed current cathodic protection system in the columns, crossbeams and abutments in combination with application of a non-toxic protective coating to the exposed parts of the bridge deck. In addition it is proposed to carry out concrete repairs to the defective areas of the concrete columns.</P>
