<P>To secure approval to provide financial support for the proposed development of new permanent conference and exhibition facilites for the hosting of the Farnborough International Airshow. This is in response to a formal request from the CEO of Farnborough International Limited (FIL) to provide a loan of £4.5m to assist the company in reaching their required funding target of £29m.</P>
