Hampshire County Council is looking at ways to help people in Hampshire to throw away less food

By taking part in this survey, you can help us to understand where we need to focus our efforts to support people to waste less food, helping them to save money and reduce their impact on the environment.

Throwing away less food delivers the best environmental outcomes above recycling and disposal. Disposing of food also places a burden on the County Council’s budget that could be better used to support essential services for residents who are most in need of our help. In addition, in 2015 the UK committed to halving the amount of food loss or wasted by 2030, and Councils have a part to play in helping to deliver this.

The survey asks about how you shop and plan meals, and what you do with leftovers. It should take about 10 minutes to complete.
