From 3 November to 7 December 2025 Hampshire County Council (the County Council) sought residents’ and stakeholders’ views on proposed changes to its School Transport Policy.
The School Transport Policy (the Policy) sets out how the County Council meets its legal duty to provide transport assistance to school or another education setting for children and young people living in the local authority area.
The views submitted through this consultation were collated and analysed to understand the potential impact of these service change proposals and any alternative approaches suggested.
The findings of the consultation were published and presented to the Executive Lead Member for Children’s Services and a decision was announced in February 2026.
