Petition - Construct a footpath on the grass verge on Gershwin Close to reach the bus stop safely, and construct a footpath on the grass verge on Bach Close 

I acknowledge the receipt of the petitions for two footway requests on Gershwin Road, which relate to the safe accessing of the bus stops by Copeland Road and Bach Close and apologise for the delayed response. Whilst there is existing provision for off road access in both locations, we recognise that the current provision for both locations is not ideal. However, at present there is no funding available to facilitate a feasibility study and the delivery of a footway in either location.

We appreciate that this is of real concern to individuals locally and we will keep the proposals under review and be alert to potential funding opportunities, should these become available through which this could be progressed.
