Thank you for sending in the petition showing the support you have received to change the parking bays outside of your shop in School Road to limited wait.

I have now discussed this with the parking team and the proposal has been re-evaluated in line with the additional evidence provided during my site visit with Cllr McEvoy and will now be included in a future programme of works. This will require a legally binding Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) to be put in place before changes can be made. There is no guarantee that the TRO will be adopted as responses to the public consultation need to be properly considered. Clearly there may be some objections to the proposed changes, and this will dictate how it is considered further.

I am pleased that myself and Cllr McEvoy have been able to help provide more evidence to justify this proposal being re-evaluated and for it to now be added to a future delivery programme.
