Petition - Traffic in Fawley: noise and speed nuisance

I refer to your petition received 12th July 2019.

I’m afraid the County Council is not able to comment on the potential for the installation of camera enforcement on the B3053, Fawley Bypass. This is because it is the Police that carry out traffic speed enforcement, including camera enforcement. For this reason, I can only advise that you direct your enquiry to the Police for their advice.

In view of the continued concern, and as agreed within previous correspondence, the Traffic and Safety Team have added this location to their list of sites to review as resource and funding permits with a view to applying speed limit roundel markings to improve driver awareness of the speed limit.
