Privacy Notice
The Child Employment and Entertainment Team are collecting personal data to process your Chaperone Licence. In order to do this Hampshire County Council will ask that you complete a form in which you will need to provide your name, address, contact numbers, email, employment history, any previous convictions and references.
We collect and use the information ensuring that we comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 requirements for processing through Article 6(1)(e) of the UK GDPR where processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.
All information collected from the form will be held within the County Council’s Records and Document Management Systems and will be kept in line with our retention schedule and then deleted as appropriate. Any third party processors that hold County Council data are required to comply with our instructions and may only process personal data outside of the UK in accordance with the UK GDPR.
Under data protection legislation, you have the right to:
- request access to your records
- prevent processing for the purpose of direct marketing
- object to decisions being taken by solely automated means
- in certain circumstances, have inaccurate personal data rectified, blocked, erased or destroyed
- claim compensation for damages caused by a breach of the Data Protection regulations
