Hampshire County Council collects information about you in order to provide the following service – enforcement of moving traffic offences in Hampshire to ensure compliance of traffic restrictions.

The purpose of collecting this data is to capture the vehicle registration mark of those vehicles in contravention of the restrictions and to enable Hampshire County Council to request data about the vehicles registered keeper from the DVLA database so that a penalty charge notice can be issued in the post.

The legal basis for our use of this information is where it is necessary for compliance of a legal obligation to which the County Council is subject and public task, where it is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest in the exercise of official authority vested in the County Council.

We may share your personal information with our service partner NSL, their camera service provider Videalert, software service provider Chipside and selected Enforcement Agents.

We will keep your personal information for 7 years.
