Hampshire County Council collects information about you for in order to provide you with an access protection marking (H-bar).

We will use the information for processing your application.

The legal basis for our use of this information is where it is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest in the exercise of official authority vested in the County Council.

We will keep your personal information for a specified length of time agreed by the County Council’s Records Management Service.

If you want customers to make contact with your service or you expect to receive queries regarding the work you are undertaking, you will need to make appropriate contact details really clear elsewhere, as the Information Governance Team is not able to triage responses on your behalf.
