Privacy notice: Volunteer drivers for adult social care transport

Hampshire County Council collects information about you in order to recruit for the position of Volunteer Driver.

The personal information you provide on this form will be used for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest in the exercise of official authority vested in the County Council. Where Special Category Data is used, the legal basis is necessary for reasons of substantial public interest.

Hampshire County Council will only share this information with your consent.

Your information will not be shared with any third-party for marketing purposes.

We will keep your application form on file for the duration of the time you are actively volunteering with us. When you cease your role as volunteer driver, Hampshire County Council will continue to store your details in accordance to statutory guidelines for records relating to children and vulnerable adults.
