Hampshire County Council collects information about you to deliver a Travel Plan for a major development in North Whiteley funded by and on behalf of the North Whiteley Consortium.

We will collect contact details so that we can provide you with relevant travel news (newsletter and occasional emails) relating to North Whiteley on a regular basis.

The legal basis for our use of this information is you have given your consent. Your details will be shared by the County Council with third party companies SAP and AWS, who are acting only on our instructions and under contract, to send out the news and information by email.

The data you supply will be retained on an ongoing basis, until such time as the newsletter ceases to exist or you choose to unsubscribe from that newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the ‘Manage my subscriptions’ or ‘Unsubscribe’ links contained in our newsletters or by sending an email to [email protected]. If you have a Hantsweb account, you are also able to amend your subscriptions there.

Travel incentive (£100 Green Travel Boost)

Hampshire County Council collects information about you to deliver a Travel Plan for a major development in North Whiteley funded by and on behalf of the North Whiteley Consortium.

We will use the information for the following purposes:

  • To provide a £100 Green Travel Boost (limited to one per household) to North Whiteley residents.
  • To record that your household has received a payment of up to £100 Green Travel Boost for monitoring purposes.

The legal basis for our use of this information is the legitimate interests of the Council on behalf of a third party (North Whiteley Consortium). We may share with Whiteley Town Council in order for them to process the £100 Green Travel Boost.

We will keep your personal information securely for seven years, after which time it will be destroyed.

We will use photographs/film footage of you for promoting sustainable travel in promotional materials.

The legal basis for our use of this information is that you have given your consent. We will keep your personal information for three years after which it will be deleted.

Travel Survey

We will use the information to understand the travel habits and views of residents and visitors of North Whiteley and to inform the development of the travel plan for North Whiteley.

The legal basis for our use of this information is the legitimate interests of the Council on behalf of a third party (the North Whiteley Consortium).

We will keep your personal information for one year.

Travel Workshop

We will use the information so that you can take part in a workshop about your experiences and views of travel in and around North Whiteley and to communicate with you about the workshop and to develop the travel plan.

Prize Draw

Hampshire County Council collects information about you in order to deliver a Travel Plan for a major development in North Whiteley funded by and on behalf of the North Whiteley Consortium.

We will use the information to enter you into the prize draw and for contacting the winner(s) of the prize draw.

The legal basis for our use of this information is you have given your consent. We may share your personal information with the prize draw provider if they need to make arrangements with you in the event that you are a winner.

We will keep your personal information until all winner(s) have been notified and accepted their prize(s), this will be no longer than two months. If you wish to remove your name, contact us by emailing [email protected].

Family Cycle confidence sessions

Hampshire County Council (HCC) collects information about you to deliver a Travel Plan for a major development in North Whiteley funded by and on behalf of the North Whiteley Consortium.   HCC and Hampshire Outdoors Services are collecting personal data to provide access to our Family Cycle Confidence courses. In order to do this HCC will ask that you complete a form in which you will need to provide relevant personal data about the participants.

By completing this form, you confirm your agreement to HCC/Hampshire Outdoors processing your or your child's data for the purpose of supervising and supporting you and your child during the family cycle sessions.

The legal basis for our use of the information is where there is consent from the data subject for the purpose for which we are processing and where the data subject has given explicit consent to processing for specified purposes.

We will share your information with Sustrans, the joint provider of the Family Cycle Confidence courses.

We will keep your personal information for up to one year plus the current year, after which it will be deleted or destroyed.
