Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) Advertising

Hampshire County Council collects information about you in order to administer the HWRC advertising scheme.

We will use the information to:

• Process and respond to your enquiry
• Perform Trading Standards checks on your business/company/organisation
• Issue you with a booking agreement. Invoice you for advertising services provided
• Contact you regarding your advertisement/s

The legal basis for our use of this information is that is it necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest as Hampshire County Council must have regard to the Code of recommended practice on Local Authority publicity.

We will share your personal information with Hampshire Trading Standards to ensure that your business operates in a legal, honest and fair way.

We may share your information with third party processors in order to provide an advertising agreement to you and to administer your enquiry. These are: Signable, Microsoft.

The timescales in which your data will be retained for varies.

• Names, Email Addresses, IP Addresses – 2 Years
• Business Owner Names, Business Address, Business Telephone Number, Business Email Address – 6 Years

All data will be deleted after the above retention periods.
