THE HAMPSHIRE (HIGH STREET, FAREHAM) (ON-STREET PAY-AND-DISPLAY AND PERMIT PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2021

GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: Will be to implement on-street pay-and-display parking places as specified below: On-Street Pay-and-Display Parking Places Monday to Saturday (inclusive) 8.00am – 6.00pm, 1 hour (i) High Street – west side, between a point 64 metres north of its junction with West Street North and a point 139 metres north of that point. (ii) High Street – east side, between a point 58 metres north of its junction with East Street North and a point 54 metres north of that point. (iii) High Street – east side, between a point 116 metres north of its junction with East Street North and a point 140 metres north of that point. Maximum Period a Vehicle May Wait and Level of Fees Payable 1hour - £1 Please note the items contained in (ii) and (iii) above will be shared with the existing residents’ permit parking bays.

Highways – Permanent Traffic Order Notices from Hampshire County Council in Fareham area

TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS – ON-STREET PAY-AND-DISPLAY PARKING PLACES, HIGH STREET, FAREHAM

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council ("the Council") proposes to make the above-mentioned Order, in exercise of its powers and duties under the relevant Sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.

GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: Will be to implement on-street pay-and-display parking places as specified below:

On-Street Pay-and-Display Parking Places

Monday to Saturday (inclusive) 8.00am – 6.00pm, 1 hour

(i) High Street – west side, between a point 64 metres north of its junction with West Street North and a point 139 metres north of that point.

(ii) High Street – east side, between a point 58 metres north of its junction with East Street North and a point 54 metres north of that point.

(iii) High Street – east side, between a point 116 metres north of its junction with East Street North and a point 140 metres north of that point.

Please note the items contained in (ii) and (iii) above will be shared with the existing residents' permit parking bays.

OBJECTIONS AND OTHER REPRESENTATIONS: All objections/other representations in respect of this proposal must be made in writing to The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UD or email public.notices@hants.gov.uk quoting reference:- A1069/MB, by 26 November 2021. All objections must state the grounds on which they are made. Under the requirements of current access to information legislation, any statement you make to the Council in response to this Notice may be made available to the press and to the public, who would be entitled to take copies of it if they so wished.

TITLE: The order, if made, will be known as "The Hampshire (High Street, Fareham) (On-Street Pay-and-Display and Permit Parking Places) Order 2021."
