Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Fareham area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Hill Head Road between its junction with Solent Road and its junction with Old Street.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hill Head Road, Crofton Lane, Carisbrooke Avenue, Short Road, Old Street.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Tuesday 5th August 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 6 months and working between the hours 07:00-17:00).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Turvey Construction Ltd Company to facilitate several prominent deliveries that need to be received at site within the next 6 months. Closure is only required intermittently for Crane Delivery Set Up, Steelwork Delivery, Window Deliveries, Material Deliveries, Skip and Mobile Elevated Working Platform.
