Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Test Valley area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the road closure mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE TEMPORARILY CLOSED:
Balksbury Hill between its junction with Balksbury Road and its junction with Foundry Road
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Balksbury Hill, Salisbury Road, Salisbury Road, Foundry Road, Balksbury Hill
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from Tuesday 21st October 2025 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the Emergency Restriction whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the road closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours of 09:30-15:30).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to carry out emergency cabling repairs.
