Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Hart area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of A327 The Street between its junction with Reading Road and its junction with Warbrook Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B3348, B3016, B3272.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from 29th October 2025 for a maximum period of 21 days or until completion of the emergency restriction, whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding the above, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 weeks, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Cappagh Contractors to carry out emergency repairs to a collapsed pipe. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: [email protected]
Cappagh Contractors will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
