The following roads will be temporarily closed some time during the next 6 months, with an approximate start date of 07/01/2026.

Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Hart area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
1. King Street between its junction with High Street and its junction with Church Street.
2. Church Street between its junction with King Street and its junction with High Street.
3. The Bury between its junction with Church Street and the roads termination.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
1. High Street, B3349, Hayley Lane, The Street, White Hill, Long Lane, Cemetery Hill
2. Kings Street, High Street
3. N/A
DURATION OF ORDER: from 7th January 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closures will be required for no longer than 11 weeks, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Durkin & Sons to carry out electrical works near gas mains. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: [email protected]
Durkin & Sons will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
