Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in New Forest area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
Beaulieu Road between its junction with Beaulieu Road roundabout and its junction with Heathlands Court.
Roman Road between its junction with Oak Road and its junction with Beaulieu Road.
Lundedale Road between its junction with Roman Road and its junction with Whinfield Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
Beaulieu Road- Hythe Bypass (A326), Fawley Road, Beaulieu Road.
Roman Road- Beaulieu Road, Oak Road, Roman Road.
Lundedale Road- Roman Road, Solent Road, Whinfield Road, Lundedale Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 16th February 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 11 days and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for SGN to complete gas mains replacement. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: [email protected].
