TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS – PROHIBITION OF WAITING IN HART PLAIN AVENUE, FAIRBOURNE CLOSE AND HARTWOOD GARDENS, WATERLOOVILLE, HAVANT
GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: will be to impose no waiting at any time in Waterlooville as follows: Hart Plain Avenue (i) North side – between a point at the centreline of its junction with Fairbourne Close and a point 110 metres east of that point. (ii) South side – between a point 1 metre east of the western boundary of property no. 43 Hart Plain Avenue and a point 37 metres west of that point. (iii) South side – between a point 80 metres west of the western boundary of property no. 43 Hart Plain Avenue and a point 75 metres west of that point. Fairbourne Close Both sides – between its junction with Hart Plain Avenue and a point 15 metres north thereof. Hartwood Gardens Both sides – between its junction with Hart Plain Avenue and a point 20 metres north thereof. This order will also revoke and re-enact the provisions contained in The Borough of Havant (Waterlooville: Fairbourne Close, Firs Avenue, Hart Plain Avenue, Hartwood Gardens and Lawnswood Close (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Stopping) Order 2013 with no change of substance save for those mentioned above.

Highways – Permanent Traffic Order Notices from Hampshire County Council in Havant area
TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS – PROHIBITION OF WAITING IN HART PLAIN AVENUE, FAIRBOURNE CLOSE AND HARTWOOD GARDENS, WATERLOOVILLE, HAVANT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council (“the Council”) proposes to make the above-mentioned Order, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5 and 122 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.
General nature and effects of the Order: will be to impose no waiting at any time in Waterlooville as follows:
Hart Plain Avenue
(i) North side – between a point at the centreline of its junction with Fairbourne Close and a point 110 metres east of that point.
(ii) South side – between a point 1 metre east of the western boundary of property no. 43 Hart Plain Avenue and a point 37 metres west of that point.
(iii) South side – between a point 80 metres west of the western boundary of property no. 43 Hart Plain Avenue and a point 75 metres west of that point.
Fairbourne Close
Both sides – between its junction with Hart Plain Avenue and a point 15 metres north thereof.
Hartwood Gardens
Both sides – between its junction with Hart Plain Avenue and a point 20 metres north thereof.

OBJECTIONS AND OTHER REPRESENTATIONS: All objections/other representations in respect of this proposal must be made in writing to The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UD or email [email protected] quoting reference: - A2127/MB, by 6th March 2026 All objections must state the grounds on which they are made. Under the requirements of current access to information legislation, any statement you make to the Council in response to this Notice may be made available to the press and to the public, who would be entitled to take copies of it if they so wished.
TITLE: The order, if made, will be known as “The Hampshire (Various Roads, Waterlooville) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2026.”
