Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Basingstoke and Deane area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Rookery Farm Lane between its junction with Stokes Lane and its junction with Monk Sherborne Road.
Ramsdell Road between its junction with Monk Sherborne Road and its junction with Salters Heath Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Monk Sherborne Road, Basingstoke Road, A339.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 9th March 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days working between the hours 09:30-15:30, Please note only one of the roads will be shut at a time).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to complete pole testing. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: [email protected].
