Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Hart area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 to allow the Fleet Half Marathon 2026 to take place out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
1. Reading Road North between its junction with Elvetham Road and its junction with Fleet Road.
2. Herbert Road between its junction with Reading Road North and its junction with Fitzroy Road.
3. Fitzroy Road between its junction with Hitches Lane and its junction with Tavistock Road.
4. Hitches Lane between its junction with Reading Road North and its junction with Emerald Avenue.
5. Fleet Road between its junction with Reading Road North and its junction with Cove Road.
6. Elvetham Road between its junction with Fleet Road and its junction with Reading Road North.
7. Cove Road between its junction with Minley Road and its junction with Ancells Road.
8. Ancells Road between its junction with Cove Road and its junction with Minley Road.
9. Minley Road between its junction with Elvetham Heath and its junction with Blackbushes Road.
10. Blackbushes Road between its junction with Minley Road and its junction with Rotton Green Road.
11. Rotton Green Road between its junction with Blackbushes Road and its junction with Pale Lane.
12. Pale Lane between its junction with Rotton Green Road and its junction with A323 Fleet Road.
13. A323 Fleet Road between its junction with A30 High Street and its junction with Elvetham Heath Way Roundabout.
14. Tavistock Road between its junction with Fitzroy Road and its junction with Reading Road North.
15. Baker Way between its junction with Reading Road North and its junction with Merivale.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: N/A. Diversions will be advised by Marshalls out on the route at the time of the event.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Sunday 29th March 2026 between the hours 06:30 – 15:00 for 1 day or until the event has ended, whichever is sooner. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the event is being carried out.
The Road Closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the event of Fleet Half Marathon 2026.
