Amendment/disuse of church for worship or marriage from Hampshire County Council in East Hampshire area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Church Street between its junction with Hale Close and its junction with Dunsells Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Church Street, Lyeway Lane, Plain Farm Lane, Gosport Road, Petersfield Road, The Dene, Berry Hill, Vicarage Lane.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 30th March 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 days and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for South East Water to complete works to plug off old redundant supply in carriageway. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: [email protected].
