Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in East Hampshire area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED:
Binsted Road from a point 150 metres East of its junction with Clays Lane and to a point 150 metres West of its Junction with Clays Lane.
Clays Lane between its junction with Binsted Road and continuing to a point 150 metres South on Clays Lane.
Mill Court Lane between its junction with Binsted Road and continuing to a point 150 metres North on Mill Court Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Mill Court Lane, Islington Road, Binsted Road, Church Street, South Hay Lane, Green Street, Worldham Hill, Cakers Lane, Wilsom Road, Mill Lane, Montecchio Way, London Road, Binsted Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 25th May 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 7 days and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Connect It Utility Services to complete excavation works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: [email protected].
