The following roads will be temporarily closed some time during the next 6 months, with an approximate start date of 01/06/2026.

Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Test Valley area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
1. A27 Dunwood Hill between its junction with Dunwood Manor and its junction with Danes Road.
2. A27 Salisbury Road between its junction with Danes Road and its junction with Embley Lane
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
1. A27, A36, A3090, A27
2. A27, A36, A3090, A27
DURATION OF ORDER: from 1st June 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that closure 1 will be required for no longer than 5 days from the 1st June 2026 and closure 2 will be required for no longer than 5 days from the 8th June 2026, working between the hours 09:30 – 15:30).
The road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to carry out cabling work and pole testing. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: [email protected]
Openreach will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
