Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in New Forest area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of works on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Ringwood Road between its junction with Lyndhurst Road (A35) and its junction with Amberwood Drive
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Lyndhurst Road, Beckley Road, Bashley Cross Road, Bashley Road, Fernhill Lane, Station Road, Old Milton Road, Gore Road, Walkford Road, Ringwood Road
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: From 08/06/2026 for a maximum period of 21 days or until completion of the emergency restriction, whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding the above, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day/night working between the hours of 09:00 - 16:00 ).
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
