Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in New Forest area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council considers it necessary, in order to carry out works on or near the highway, for the road(s) specified below to be closed without delay due to the likelihood of danger to the public or the risk of serious damage to the road.
ROAD(S) TO BE CLOSED: that part of Stopples Lane between its junction with Ashley Lane and its junction with Hordle Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hordle Lane, Everton Road, Ashley Lane.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: From 15/07/2026 for a maximum period of 21 days or until completion of the emergency restriction, whichever is sooner.
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
