Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Winchester area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council considers it necessary, in order to carry out works on or near the highway, for the road(s) specified below to be closed without delay due to the likelihood of danger to the public or the risk of serious damage to the road.
ROAD(S) TO BE CLOSED: that part of Alresford Road between its junction with North End Lane and its junction with Riverside Farm Lane .
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B3046, A31 Alresford Road , A272, B3046.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: From 21/08/2026 for a maximum period of 21 days or until completion of the emergency restriction, whichever is sooner.
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
