The following road will be temporarily closed sometime during the next 6 months, with an approximate start date of 12/09/2026

Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Test Valley area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to allow the Romsey Show to take place out on or near the Road.
RIGHT-HAND TURN TO BE PROHIBITED:
Rapids Roundabout turning right into A3090 Bypass Road. (08:00-16:00)
ONE-WAY RESTRICTIONS:
B3398 Palmerston Street between its junction with Broadwater Road and its junction with A3090 Bypass Road. Traffic will only be permitted to travel Northbound. (07:00-19:00)
U-TURN TO BE PROHIBITED:
A27 Southampton Road outside the entrance to Romsey Rapids Sports Complex. (08:00-16:00)
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
Right-Hand Turn Diversions-
For Romsey Show- Follows Signage via Spaniards Lane.
For Other Traffic- A27, A3057, M271 (J3), A36, A3090.
One-Way Diversion- B3398, A0357, A0390.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Saturday 12th September 2026 between the hours 07:00–19:00 for 1 day or until the event has ended, whichever is sooner. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the event is taking place.
The temporary road restrictions have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the event of the Romsey Show.
