Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Eastleigh area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
PHASE 1-
1. Fair Oak Road (Spur) between its junction with Fair Oak Road and its junction with B3037 Alan Drayton Way. Traffic coming into Fair Oak Road from B3037 Alan Drayton Way will be maintained. (21/09-19/10)
PHASE 2-
1. Fair Oak Road between the points either side of its junction with Haig Road. (19/10-13/11)
2. Haig Road between its junction with Fair Oak Road and its junction with Earls Close. (19/10-13/11)
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Haig Road, Weavills Road, B3037 Alan Drayton Way, Fair Oak Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 21st September 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closures will be required for no longer than 7 weeks and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for SGN to complete gas mains replacement. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: [email protected].
