Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Test Valley area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, in connection with works to be carried out on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Church Road between its junction with The Cross and its junction with Palace Farm Close.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Furzedown Road, Braishfield Road, Sandy Lane, Belbins, Yokesford Hill, A3057
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from 14th September 2026 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding the above, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, and in operation between the hours 09:00 -16:00.
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to carry out replacements to manhole covers.
McAllister Bros Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
