Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in New Forest area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council considers it necessary, in order to carry out works on or near the highway, for a ONE WAY restriction to be in place on the road(s) specified below without delay due to the likelihood of danger to the public or the risk of serious damage to the road.
ROADS TO BE RESTRICTED TO ONE WAY TRAFFIC: Reverse the one way restriction from Kings Arms Row to High Street. between its junction with Kings Arms Row and its junction with High Street.
ROADS SHALL BE RESTRICTED: Kings Arms Lane
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: N/A.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: From 22/09/2026 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the emergency restriction, whichever is sooner.
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
