GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: Will be to implement Prohibition of Waiting restrictions on both sides of Westborn Road to protect new kerbed buildout raingarden drainage features being installed as part of the Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems project, and to maintain traffic flow past the new features as described below.

THE HAMPSHIRE (FAREHAM) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2023 (VARIATION NO. 11) (WESTBORN ROAD, FAREHAM) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council made the above-mentioned Order on Tuesday 29th September 2026, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 51, 53 and 122 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act, and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.
General nature and effectS of the Order: Will be to implement Prohibition of Waiting restrictions on both sides of Westborn Road to protect new kerbed buildout raingarden drainage features being installed as part of the Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems project, and to maintain traffic flow past the new features as described in the following schedule:

DATE OF OPERATION: The order will come into force on Saturday 10th October 2026.

APPLICATION TO THE HIGH COURT: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Act, or that any of the relevant requirements of the Act or of any relevant instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, by Tuesday 10th November 2026 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
