Highways – Temporary Speed Restrictions from Hampshire County Council in Eastleigh area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the temporary speed restriction mentioned below should come into force without delay.
TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION- To impose a 30-mph temporary speed restriction on the following road: That part of Woodhouse Lane between its junction with Maypole Roundabout and its junction with Winchester Road.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from Wednesday 30th September 2026 for a maximum period of 21 days or until completion of the Emergency Restriction whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 21 days, and in operation for 24 hours a day). This TTRN will be followed up with a TTRO.
The Temporary Speed Restriction has been granted by Hampshire County Council to carry out works on or near the road for Botley Bypass project.
