Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Winchester area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council considers it necessary, in order to carry out works on or near the highway, for the road(s) specified below to be closed without delay due to the likelihood of danger to the public or the risk of serious damage to the road.
ROAD(S) TO BE CLOSED: that part of Titchfield Lane between its junction with Beddinfield lane and its junction with Quob Farm.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Titchfield Lane, Winchester Road, Fareham Road, Hoads Hill, Wickham Road, M27 Junction 10 To Junction 11 On Slip, Old Turnpike, Wallington Way, Delme Roundabout, Delme (Link), Portchester Road, Eastern Way, Deanes Park Road, Quay Street, Gosport Road, Western Way, The Avenue, Station Subway, Titchfield By-pass, Mill Lane, Fontley Road.
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: From 05/10/2026 for a maximum period of 21 days or until completion of the emergency restriction, whichever is sooner.
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
