THE HAMPSHIRE (SERPENTINE ROAD SuDS SCHEME, FAREHAM) (EXPERIMENTAL PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026
EFFECT OF ORDER: For an experimental period of 18 months to extend the existing No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on Serpentine Road in Fareham so that the new restriction will measure: NO WAITING AT ANY TIME Serpentine Road, south, between a point 102 metres west of its junction with Wickham Road and a point 54 metres west then north of that point. This will reduce the existing single yellow lines adjacent to this restriction so that the new description reads: NO WAITING MON-SAT 8AM-6PM Serpentine Road, south, between a point 52 metres west of its junction with Wickham Road and point 50 metres west of that point. These changes form part of the wider Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) scheme currently being trialled on Serpentine Road which consists of traffic calming build-outs located at several points throughout the road. Any objections to the wider SuDS scheme should be sent to the below addresses as if objecting to the above restriction as a whole.
