NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, in connection with works to be carried out on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay. 

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Prince George Street between its junction with North Street and its junction with The Pallant. 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: The Pallant, North Street. 

The one-way restriction on Prince George Street will also be suspended as necessary for the duration of the closure. 

The disabled persons' parking place and the limited waiting parking place situated at the southern end of Prince George Street shall be suspended for the duration of this Notice and no vehicle shall wait in that parking place during that period. 

DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from 26 October 2026 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding the above, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days and will be in operation 24 hours a day). 

The Temporary Road Closure and Suspension of Parking has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the delivery of abnormal loads into Havant Station in association with the works to replace Havant Footbridge. 

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the works are being carried out.
