On the 30 September 2026 Hampshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the public footpath from its current alignment which commences at SU 7292 5205 on the access track leading up to Folly Cottage and continues along the driveway and runs around the eastern side of the property, to a new alignment that follows the eastern boundary of the property and continues south-westwards to rejoin to the footpath before crossing the footbridge to the south of the property.
