TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS – A331 BLACKWATER VALLEY ROUTE AND ASSOCIATED SLIP ROADS – 50 MPH SPEED LIMIT
Hampshire County Council under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and in accordance with the Environment Act 1995 (Blackwater Valley) Air Quality Direction 2019 proposes making a traffic order as follows:

Highways – Permanent Traffic Order Notices from Hampshire County Council in Rushmoor area
EFFECT OF ORDER: will be to impose 50mph speed limits (existing de-restricted (70mph)) on the following lengths of the A331 and associated slip roads:
(i) A331 between a point 750 metres south of the M3 Interchange and a point 100 metres south of its junction with the Coleford Bridge Road Interchange, an approximate distance of 1810 metres.
(ii) The northbound exit slip road connecting the A331 and the western roundabout of the Hawley Interchange between a point 25 metres south of that roundabout and a point where it joins the A331, an approximate distance of 315 metres.
(iii) The southbound entry slip road connecting A331 and the eastern roundabout of the Hawley Interchange, between a point 25 metres south of that roundabout and a point where it joins the A331, an approximate distance of 305 metres.
(iv) That length of the southbound exit slip road connecting the A331 and the eastern roundabout of the Coleford Bridge Road Interchange between a point 40 metres north of that roundabout and a point where it joins the A331, an approximate distance of 275 metres.
(v) That length of the northbound entry slip road connecting the western roundabout of the Coleford Bridge Road Interchange and the A331 between a point 40 metres north of that roundabout and a point where it joins the A331, an approximate distance of 290 metres.

OBJECTIONS: All objections and other representations in respect of this proposal must be sent in writing to the undersigned quoting reference:- C815/MB by 19 April 2019. All objections must state the grounds on which they are made. Persons wishing to make objections or other representations are advised that in the order-making process, objections or other representations may become publicly available and therefore the names and addresses of those persons making objections or other representations may also be made publicly available.
TITLE: The order, if made, will be known as "The Hampshire (Blackwater Valley Route) (Restricted Road and 40 and 50 Miles Per Hour Speed Limit) Order 2019."
