Support for community organisations assisting the public

Hampshire County Council grants

If you are a charity or community organisation providing ‘cost of living’ help to local people in Hampshire, you may be eligible for a Hampshire County Council grant. The Leader’s grant aims to reduce demand for service and help communities thrive -  organisations can use these grants to create ‘warm spaces’. The Adult Services Local Solutions Grant can be used for projects that support people at greater risk of issues caused by the rising cost of living.

Community grants

Community grants are funded by the Household Support Fund, which is provided to Hampshire County Council by the Department for Work and Pensions to support vulnerable households - especially with the cost of food and energy bills. Community grants have been used to fund food and fuel vouchers, discretionary grants for schools and to support community pantries. Organisations are encouraged to return to the connect4communities website regularly, as details will be published on the website as soon as new grant rounds open for applicants.

Hampshire CVS Network

The Hampshire CVS Network brings together eight local charities dedicated to supporting the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector as well as local communities. Smaller voluntary sector organisations are encouraged to contact the network to find out what support is available.
