To the Members of the County Council.

    You are hereby summoned to attend the Meeting of the County Council to be held at The Castle, Winchester at 11.00 a.m. on THURSDAY

13 SEPTEMBER 2001 to consider and resolve upon the business set out in the Agenda below.

AGENDA

1. To confirm the Minutes of the meeting held on 18 June 2001 .

2. To receive such communications as the Chairman may desire to lay before the Council.

3. To receive such reports as the Leader of the Council may desire to bring

before the Council.

4. To deal with questions pursuant to Standing Order 20 (b) (i).

5. Amendment to Constitutional arrangements.

    To consider a report of the Head of Corporate and Legal Services and Monitoring Officer following the making of further Regulations by the Government as to responsibility for certain functions, including the creation of a committee to discharge functions relating to terms and conditions of employment for staff.

6. Appointment of Committees.

    To consider a report of the Chief Executive and to determine, for the purposes of Part 1 of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989, the size of and the allocation of seats on the Standing Committees, Sub-Committees and Panels of the Council; and to make appointments as necessary.

7. To make such alterations in the membership of outside bodies as the Council may think fit.

8. To receive and consider the report and recommendation of the former Policy and Resources Committee requiring decision (Part I) and to make such orders thereon as the Council shall see fit:
