1. MINUTES (Copy herewith)

To confirm the Minutes of the meeting held on 21 March 2001. Members are asked to note the following amendment made by the Planning and Transportation Committee on 2 April 2001 to the recommendation in Minute 67 regarding Fleet Transport Issues;

`That a modified transport Option A for Fleet be progressed in detail as the preferred option but that as part of the consultation exercise, the public be also given the opportunity to see Options B and C in outline.'

2. TERMS OF REFERENCE (Report herewith)

To receive the report of the Chief Executive setting out the revised terms of reference of the North East Hampshire Transportation Strategy Panel in the light of the implementation of the County Council's new Constitution on 1 September 2001.

3. CAPITAL PROGRAMME REVIEW (Report herewith)

To receive the report of the County Surveyor which summarises the proposed five year capital investment programme (2001-2006) for the North East Hampshire Transport Strategy.

4. FLEET TOWN CENTRE TRANSPORT STUDY (Report herewith)

To receive the report of the County Surveyor outlining progress on the Fleet Town Centre Transport Study and the proposed consultations to be undertaken on the options under consideration.

5. PROGRESS REPORT ON NORTH EAST HAMPSHIRE TRANSPORT STRATEGY SCHEMES AND STUDIES (Report herewith)

To receive the report of the County Surveyor updating the Panel on the progress of various schemes and studies currently being undertaken to implement the North East Hampshire Transport Strategy.

6. PROJECT CONNAUGHT

To receive an oral update from Rushmoor Borough Council on the progress of the Project.

7. DATE OF THE NEXT MEETING

It is proposed to hold the next meeting of the North East Hampshire Transportation Strategy Panel on Wednesday morning, 6 February 2002 at Rushmoor Borough Council Offices, Farnborough.

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this panel or by virtue of Standing Orders 12(e) or 27; or with the concurrence of the chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
