Financial Assistance to Voluntary Organisations and other Bodies

1. Financial Position

1.1. Following the meeting on 12 September 2001, the unallocated sum in the budget was £80,186.

1.2. The schedule of items attached gives details of 16 applications, which if agreed in the amounts recommended, would total £16,050 from the 2001/02 budget and £10,000 from the 2002/03 budget.

1.3. A copy of the guidelines for allocation of grants by the Executive Member for Policy and Resources is attached as an Appendix to this report.

RECOMMENDATION:

That contributions totalling £16,050 in 2001/02 and £10,000 in 2002/03 be made to voluntary organisations and other bodies.
