To confirm the Minutes of the meeting held on 23 February 2001.

2. TERMS OF REFERENCE (Report herewith)

To receive the report of the Chief Executive setting out the revised terms of reference of the Central Hampshire Area Rural Transport Strategy Members Panel in the light of the implementation of the County Council's new Constitution on 1 September 2001.

3. CAPITAL PROGRAMME REVIEW (Report herewith)

To consider the report of the County Surveyor which summarises the proposed five year capital investment programme (2001-2006) for the Central Hampshire Rural Transport Strategy.

4. CENTRAL HAMPSHIRE RURAL TRANSPORT STRATEGY - PROGRESS REPORT (Report herewith)

To consider the report of the County Surveyor updating the Panel on the progress of various schemes and studies currently being undertaken to implement the Central Hampshire Rural Transport Strategy.

5. PETERSFIELD TOWN CENTRE TRANSPORT STUDY (Report herewith)

To consider the report of the County Surveyor outlining progress on the Petersfield Town Centre Transport Study and recommending the commencement of detailed design work following the consultations undertaken in May 2001.

6. LOCAL TRANSPORT PLAN - ANNUAL PROGRESS REPORT
 (Report herewith)

To receive the report of the County Surveyor on the delivery of the Local Transport Plan and the submission of the first Annual Progress Report to the Government Office for the South East (GOSE).

7. EAST HAMPSHIRE DISTRICT LOCAL PLAN (SECOND REVIEW)

To receive a verbal report on the progress of the plan.

8. WINCHESTER DISTRICT LOCAL PLAN REVIEW

To receive a verbal report on the progress of the plan.

9. THE TAPESTRY PROJECT

To receive a verbal report on the European Transport Project of which the County Council is a partner.

10. DATE OF THE NEXT MEETING

It is proposed to hold the next meeting of the Central Hampshire Area Rural Transport Strategy Panel at 2.30 p.m. on Friday 1 March 2002 - venue to be confirmed.

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this panel or by virtue of Standing Orders 17.5; or with the concurrence of the chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
