1. Summary
1.1 The following decisions are sought:
(i) That Harbour Dues should be collected at 100% of the authorised mooring length, in accordance with Section 26(2) of the Harbour Act 1964, with the exception of:
(a) House Boats 50%
(b) Registered Marine Charities 10%
(c) Youth Training Groups 10%.
(ii) That consideration be given for the future introduction of an appropriate Harbour Due for trailer launched vessels stored adjacent to the river and paying appropriate storage fees, or launched via public slipways, excluding bona fide ships-tenders.
(iii) That a further report be considered in six months time.
2. Reason
2. To conclude the review of the collection of Harbour Dues and to establish new policies to be recommended by the river Hamble Executive Member's Group (see attached report).

6. Reason for the Matter being dealt with if Urgent
The review of the length overall of all authorised moorings and eliminating historical discounts in the marinas and boatyards, covered by the above recommendation, will influence the report of the County Treasurer setting out the Harbour Dues for the mooring year 2002/03.
