To consider a report of the Chief Constable and Treasurer on a suggested timetable and process for budget consideration for this and future years.

4. REVISED REVENUE BUDGET 2001/02 (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Chief Constable and Treasurer updating the revised budget by identifying areas of reduced not expenditure.

To consider a report of the Chief Constable on the potential impact on resources - financial, staffing and accommodation of the known demands for new information technology to meet the aim of the force strategy.

7. FORWARD BUDGET 2002/03 - PROPOSALS FOR ADDITIONAL EXPENDITURE (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Chief Constable and Treasurer on proposals for additional expenditure that the Chief Constable considers necessary to provide an efficient and effective policing service.

8. NEW FINANCIAL SYSTEMS - PROGRESS REPORT (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Chief Constable updating the Panel on the latest position of the implementation of both the cfacs general ledger system and the payroll system.

RECOMMENDATION:
