To the Members of the County Council.

    You are hereby summoned to attend the Meeting of the County Council to be held at The Castle, Winchester at 11.00 a.m. on THURSDAY

13 DECEMBER 2001 to consider and resolve upon the business set out in the Agenda below.

    There will be a short service of prayer at the beginning of the meeting.

The Chairman will then present Certificates to Honorary Aldermen Captain M. P. R. Boyle, DL, H. R. Cole, D. A. Keep and G. E. Raymond, M.B.E.

AGENDA

1. To confirm the Minutes of the Meetings held on 13 September 2001.

2. To receive Deputations pursuant to Standing Order 21:

(i) Choice in 11 - 16 education in Hampshire; teacher supply and

    retention; and Post 16 Education with particular reference to Fareham -

    Mr. P. Davies.

    (ii) Traffic issues in the Twiggs Lane and Beaulieu Road area of

    Marchwood - Mr. R. K. Berry, Mr. M. Cowell, Mr. J. Haynes and

    Mr. I. Parsons.

3. To receive such communications as the Chairman may desire to lay before the Council.

4. To receive such reports as the Leader of the Council may desire to bring before the Council.

5. To deal with questions pursuant to Standing Order 20 (b) (i).

6. To make such alterations in the membership of committees or outside bodies as the Council may think fit.

7. To receive and consider reports and recommendations of the following requiring decision (Part I) and to make such orders thereon as the Council shall see fit:-
